On the approaches to Toretsk, intense fighting continues in the areas of Zalizne and Pivtsyn, reports the military publication Deep State. The situation in these settlements remains tense due to active hostilities between Ukrainian forces and Russian aggressors.
According to public information, Russians continue to saturate private and apartment buildings in these settlements with manpower.
Deep State assumes that in the near future the Russian army will concentrate its main forces to capture the Artem mine and the Severnaya mine, and then try to enter the city, and control over the dumps will give a significant advantage.
"Enemy artillery and anti-tank guns are hitting Toretsk itself. The task is clear - to cause maximum damage to the buildings in order to facilitate assault operations. The beginning of the battle for Toretsk is a matter of the near future. Unfortunately, there is still no successful recipe for how to resist such a large number of infantry without losing positions," the public writes.
Deep State also warns that after occupying Zalizne, the Russians may try to strike at the rear of the Ukrainian group in New York.
"This will not only worsen the conditions for the defense of the village, but also endanger the forces surrounding it to the east," the public writes.
