The United Kingdom has banned its intelligence agencies and military structures to transmit American intelligence data marked as "Rel UKR" (Releasable to Ukraine - "allowed for the transfer of Ukraine"). According to the Daily Mail, this step was taken after the United States has removed the level of admission to information that allowed its transfer to Ukraine.
This change in politics is likely to have a serious impact on Ukraine's ability to defend itself from the offensive of Russia, since since the beginning of the war, the country, such as Australia and New Zealand, has also been actively shared with Ukraine. However, the United States has now decided to stop this exchange of information for further message, which caused tension between the allies.
The prohibition extends to key British structures, including the government agency of GCQ radio intelligence and intelligence units of the UK Ministry of Defense. It happened against the backdrop of the US official statement about the suspension of military assistance to Ukraine, which further deepened the gap between the two states.
