Border clashes are ongoing in Sumy region, during which enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups are making sorties. However, the Ukrainian leadership claims that all necessary measures have already been taken to prevent this danger. This was announced by Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, during a telethon.
Budanov stressed that the situation in the region is difficult, but there is no threat of complete destruction. He also noted that the scale of events similar to those that occurred in the Kharkiv region earlier is not currently observed.
Earlier, terrorist leader Kadyrov announced that his fighters controlled the border village of Ryzhivka in Sumy region. However, DeepState analysts explained that this settlement is actually in a “gray zone” where Russian saboteurs have access. Later, the head of the Bilopol community Yuriy Zarko denied this information, confirming that Russian troops are absent from Ryzhivka in Sumy region.
