Ukrainian military intelligence continues to take significant steps in the fight against the aggressor, which is confirmed by the recent statements of the head of the GUR of the MoD, Kyryl Budanov. He emphasized that the unmanned systems developed by Ukrainian specialists are capable of hitting military targets at a distance of up to 1,800 km. This increases Ukraine's ability to strike key strategic targets on the territory of the aggressor state.
Achievements of unmanned systems
Budanov emphasizes the fact that modern Ukrainian drones provide the possibility of attacking Russian military airfields, which are a source of constant threat to peaceful Ukrainian cities. This not only reduces the activity of Russian military facilities, but also forces the aggressor to revise his strategy.
Successes in the maritime and cybernetic sphere
This year, military intelligence proved to the world that the Black Sea is not Russia's private territory. As a result of successful operations, Ukrainian forces forced the Russian fleet to withdraw to a "safe" distance, depriving it of control over the sea borders that Russia had long considered its own.
The cyber specialists of GUR have also achieved considerable success. Dozens of operations made it possible to obtain valuable information, penetrate Russian databases and find weak points in their communication systems. This reinforces data on the activities of the military-political command of the Russian Federation, which gives Ukraine additional advantages.
Budanov notes that Russian statehood, based on fear and cruelty, has a limited shelf life. In Ukraine, the expansion of the network of loyal supporters and sabotage in the deep rear of the enemy continues.
