Red beetroot is a real "treasure" for health. Its juice is used both for prevention and treatment of many diseases, including inflammation of the liver (cholecystitis) and constipation.
Doctors advise drinking half a glass of beetroot juice on an empty stomach, one hour before breakfast. For people undergoing complex therapy for tumor diseases, the recommended dose is half a glass 5–6 times a day, 15 minutes before meals.
Beetroot juice is also useful for anemia, hypertension, and atherosclerosis. In such cases, a mixture of beetroot and carrot juices in a ratio of 1:4 is effective, which should be drunk half a glass 3–4 times a day.
If you have kidney or bladder stones, a mixture of beetroot, carrot and cucumber juices in a ratio of 1:2:2 will help. It is recommended to drink half a glass 30 minutes before meals two to three times a day.
Women with menstrual irregularities or during menopause benefit from a mixture of beetroot and black radish in a 1:1 ratio, which should be consumed three times a day between meals.
It is important to remember: beetroot juice is not recommended for pyelonephritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as glomerulonephritis. Before starting therapy, it is advisable to consult a family doctor.
