Businessman and co-owner of “Quarter 95” Timur Mindich is hiding from NABU in Austria

Timur Mindich, a well-known businessman and co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio, is currently hiding from investigators of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) in Austria. Censor.NET reports this, citing its own sources.

According to the publication's sources, Mindich has been spotted several times in Vienna, the capital of Austria. The businessman is involved in a case related to embezzlement of state funds, which is being investigated by the NABU.

Earlier, the media emphasized that it was in Timur Mindich's apartment that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky celebrated his birthday in 2021. After information emerged about the preparation of suspicion against Mindich, President Zelensky initiated legislative changes aimed at significantly restricting the independence of NABU.

The Verkhovna Rada passed a corresponding bill, which was later signed by the president. This led to mass protests across the country.
