After a cold Wednesday, March 19, a real spring warming will begin in Ukraine. According to forecasts by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko, starting from Thursday, March 20, the air temperature will gradually rise, and by the end of the week it will reach +8…+14 degrees.
According to Didenko, Wednesday will still be quite frosty:
- At night, temperatures are expected to drop to -5°C,
- During the day, the temperature will only rise to +3…+8°C.
Light precipitation is also possible - snow and rain will fall in the eastern regions, as well as in the Odessa, Cherkasy and Kropyvnytskyi regions. In other regions, no precipitation is expected due to the influence of an anticyclone.
In Kyiv, wet snow is possible on the night of March 19 and in the morning, but it will melt quickly. The temperature in the capital will be around 0…-2°C at night, and up to +5°C during the day.
Starting March 20, when the vernal equinox arrives, Ukraine will gradually begin to warm up.
- The west and north will feel the warming first,
- By the end of the week, warm weather will cover the entire country.
Weather forecast for the week
According to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, on Thursday the temperature will rise to +12°C, and from Friday – to +14°C.
- The weather will be dry and sunny,
- However, on Saturday and Sunday (March 22-23), rain is expected in the west, and the temperature there will drop to +9...+10°C.
Spring is gradually returning, so Ukrainians should prepare for the warming and enjoy the first real warm days!
