According to the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 162 combat clashes took place in various directions of the front over the past 24 hours. The largest number of combat actions, almost half, occurred in the Kurakhiv and Pokrovsky directions, where Ukrainian soldiers stopped the aggressor's offensive actions in the areas of several settlements.
According to the updated information, the enemy carried out 87 airstrikes and 5,168 shellings, including 110 using multiple launch rocket systems. Two missile strikes were also carried out on the positions of Ukrainian units. In response, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck 13 areas of concentration of troops and equipment, two ammunition depots, as well as several important enemy facilities.
Situation on the main routes
- Kurakhiv direction : The most intense fighting, where the Defense Forces repelled 47 attacks. The enemy tried to advance in the areas of Ilyinka, Voznesenka, and Antonivka.
- Pokrovsky direction : 28 assault attempts were recorded, including near Promyny and Lysivka. Our defenders successfully stopped all enemy offensive maneuvers.
- Kharkiv direction : Eight enemy attacks in the Vovchansk area, which were repelled by the Ukrainian military.
- Kupyansk direction : 17 attacks were recorded, which were stopped near Kolisnykivka and Kruglyakivka.
- Lymansky direction : The enemy carried out six attacks near Hrekivka and Novomykhailivka.
- Dnieper direction : Five attacks by Russian troops, all of which were fiercely repulsed with losses for the enemy.
- Toretsk direction : Eleven attacks, where the occupiers operated with the involvement of aviation. Our soldiers repelled the enemy near Toretsk and Shcherbinivka.
In other areas, in particular in Volyn and Polissya, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected. At the same time, on the borders with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russian troops continue artillery and air strikes on Ukrainian settlements.
Operation in Kursk region
Ukrainian forces also successfully repelled 20 enemy attacks in the Kursk region, where an active operation continues. According to available information, Russian troops do not stop shelling their own territory, trying to stage attacks from Ukraine. Over the past day, 24 airstrikes on Russian territories using 34 aerial bombs were recorded.
