March 31 is the deadline for passing identification in the Pension Fund, and those who do not pass it will simply stop receiving pensions.
We are talking about pensioners from among IDPs. But not about new displaced people who received this status already after the start of a full-scale war, but about those who were registered as internally displaced persons until February 24, 2022. That is, about Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimean pensioners, who were required by the authorities to undergo inspections every 3-6 months back in 2014.
There are several ways to pass identification.
1 Apply in person to the branch of the Savings Bank or the division of the Pension Fund with an identity document.
2. Complete identification remotely - with the help of a qualified electronic signature "Action Signature" through a personal account on the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund.
3. With the help of video conferencing in the territorial bodies of the Pension Fund.
4. In foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine, if a person is abroad. The latter must issue a certificate stating that "the natural person is alive". That is, the authorities want to make sure that there is no abuse of pensions, and payments are not accrued, for example, to citizens who have already died.
5. In addition, "Oschadbank" will regularly, by the 25th of each month, inform the Pension Fund about citizens from among IDPs who have not conducted any operations on their pension cards in the last 6 months. "That is, you can't just accumulate pensions on the card," says Kravets.
What will happen if identification is not completed? The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers clearly states that pensions will not be paid after March 31, 2024.
