The state has increased payments at the birth of a child: newborns after January 1, 2026 will receive 50 thousand hryvnias and a Baby Package worth 8,451 hryvnias.
One of the guardians can receive assistance. The application can be submitted through the "Diya" application. If the parents or guardians do not use "Diya", you must contact the nearest branch of the Pension Fund. For children born abroad, official birth documents from the country of residence must be provided.
It is worth noting that for children born before January 1, 2026, the benefit is UAH 41,280. Of this, UAH 10,320 is paid immediately, and the remaining funds are provided monthly for three years. For children on full state support, the funds will be kept on deposit until they reach adulthood.
These changes are designed to support families and provide children with the resources they need for the first years of life.
