Chinese citizen Ren Yongpeng acquired LLC “Center “Sunnyachne Remeslo”, which last year became the leader among private companies in Ukraine in terms of raw amber production. The deal was completed on November 5, 2024, when Ren Yongpeng’s company – LLC “Lumos Plus” – became the sole participant in LLC “Center “Sunnyachne Remeslo”.
Prior to that, since November 2, 2024, the company was headed by Fedir Gorban, who also holds the position of director of Lumos Plus. Previously, the company was under the control of Concord Consulting LLC, owned by the famous businessman Igor Mazepa, as well as Yuriy Blagodyr and Galina Symkha. Mazepa owned 58% of the shares, Blagodyr - 32%, and Symkha had 10%.
The amber quarry of the "Solar Craft Center" is located in the Rivne region, and has been providing high production rates for more than one year. However, changes in the management and ownership of the company may lead to new strategic decisions in the amber market in Ukraine.
It should be noted that Igor Mazepa and Yuriy Blagodyr, after selling the company, retained control over another amber mining company with a similar name – LLC “Sonyachne Remeslo” (formerly known as LLC “Sankamyan”). The third participant in this company is another Chinese citizen – Wang Zhikai.
It is expected that the procedure for updating data on the ultimate beneficial owner of the company "Solar Craft Center" will be completed in the coming days, and new changes in the market may significantly affect the further development of amber mining and sales in Ukraine.
