A man tried to blow himself up with a grenade along with his children

On the evening of December 25, an incident occurred in the Dnipropetrovsk region, during which a man almost blew himself up along with two children.

The children, aged 2 and 4, were handed over to the police officers through the window. The incident was reported to the police at 10:00 p.m. KORD special forces went to the scene, and the operation was led by the head of the State Security Service in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Oleksandr Ganja.

The detainee turned out to be a 27-year-old local resident who was disarmed and detained. He had an F-1 grenade in his possession, and four more grenades and smoke grenades were found during the search of the premises. The man was detained under Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code (illegal possession of weapons and ammunition).

Also, the issue of entering information into the EDPR under Part 1 of Art. 129 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (threat to kill). A man threatened to detonate a grenade in a house where small children were. As a result of the event, no one was injured.
