Valery Talaban, a resident of Ternopil Oblast, failed to pass the military medical commission three times, where doctors declared him unfit. He was detained by the employees of the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCC) on Saturday, June 8, and was held at the Military Commissariat, even after failing to pass the military medical commission. This was reported by his daughter, Angelica Talaban.
She explained that her father has serious health problems - he is cross-eyed, almost unable to move due to numerous injuries to his spine and ribs, and suffered a stroke. In addition, he consumes large quantities of alcoholic beverages every day.
At the Ternopil Military Medical Commission, the doctors declared him unfit almost immediately, but he was brought back to the TCC, where he was kept, and he was found completely fit, which surprised his daughter.
Angelica Talaban also said that after the start of the full-scale invasion, her father himself went to the Military Commissariat twice, but he was refused mobilization due to alcohol problems. The man also encountered a patrol near the house, but was again deemed unfit and sent home.
The situation remains unresolved, because the relatives were not allowed to meet the father and give him the necessary things. The man has already been taken to the Rivne training ground, but it is not possible to contact him. Angelica states that it is illegal to keep a person with significant health problems, and so far there has been no response to the complaints.
