Famous Ukrainian choreographer Dmytro Dikusar, who currently serves in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, emotionally reacted to the death of TV presenter Maksym Nelipa. The artist shared his memories of his colleague and appealed to Ukrainians to preserve the memory of the fallen defender.
In a comment to OBOZ.UA, Dikusar noted that he learned about Maksym Nelipa's death from his own mother. They worked together on the second season of "Dancing with the Stars," and the choreographer retained warm and respectful memories of his colleague.
“I remember Maksym as positive, sincere, and very open. Someone who can truly be called a real person. That's why I wasn't surprised that he volunteered at the beginning of a full-scale war,” Dikusar shared.
He emphasized that the death of Maksym Nelipa is another reminder of those who sacrifice themselves for the sake of Ukraine:
"I want people to remember: he risked and gave his life so that others could live. Strength to his family. Endless respect and eternal memory to a warrior, a bright soul, and a true Man!"
Maksym Nelipa volunteered for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the first months of Russia's full-scale invasion. Previously, he was widely known as a TV presenter, including on the show "Idu na vy", as well as a producer and media organizer.
His death was another loss among public figures who knowingly took up arms to defend Ukraine.
Eternal memory to the hero.
