Law enforcement officers detained the Deputy Rector of the National Academy of the Bohdan Khmelnytsky State Border Service of Ukraine - Colonel Peter Tkachuk. It is suspected that the official decided to build a private home without spending a single penny of his own funds - everything at the expense of the state.
According to preliminary data, Tkachuk, using office, involved the construction of servicemen and workers of the Academy. This already pulls on official abuse, but most importantly - what they found in the territory of "structure".
During the searches, property that has inventory numbers of the Academy: beds, air conditioners, heaters, souvenir products - all that should be on the balance sheet of the state university, not in the private estate.
In addition, building materials - tile, laminate and more, purchased at the expense of the state budget - were found at the object. That is, instead of the preparation of future border guards and the proper maintenance of the infrastructure of the educational institution, state property and resources went to the erection of a private residence of the colonel.
This case is another evidence as deeply corruption penetrates even military educational institutions. Will Tkachuk be punished for the brazen appropriation of resources during the war is now the word for law enforcement and court.
