The new week in Ukraine will begin with a cold snap and mostly cloudy weather. On Monday, December 22, almost no precipitation is expected, and the air temperature in most regions will fluctuate within 0°…+2°. It will be slightly warmer only in the south of the country and in Transcarpathia.
It will be cloudy in the capital during the day. At night, the temperature will drop to -1°, and during the day the air will warm up to +1°.
Cloudy weather will also prevail in the western regions. In Lviv, Lutsk, Rivne, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi, the temperature is expected to be around 0° at night, up to +2° during the day. In Uzhhorod, it will be warmer: 0° at night, up to +5° during the day.
No significant temperature fluctuations are forecast in the central regions. In Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Kropyvnytskyi, and Poltava, the night temperature will be around 0°, and during the day it will be up to +2°, with no precipitation and cloudy weather.
In the north of the country, the picture is the same. In Chernihiv and Sumy, the temperature will be 0° at night, rising to +2° during the day. In Kharkiv, -1° at night is expected, during the day it will be about +1°, the weather will be cloudy.
In the southern regions, the air will be slightly warmer. In Odessa, the forecast is +1° at night, up to +6° during the day, light rain is possible. In Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhia, the night temperature will be around 0°, up to +2° during the day, cloudy.
Cool weather will also persist in the east of the country. In Dnipro, 0° at night, +2° during the day. In Kramatorsk, -1° at night, up to +2° during the day, in Severodonetsk, up to -2° at night, around +2° during the day.
In Crimea, it will be cloudy on December 22, the air temperature will fluctuate within +2°…+5°.
