Russia stands on the threshold of another large -scale offensive in eastern Ukraine. According to CNN American TV channel, Moscow has concentrated about 160,000 soldiers on the front, and their blow can start in the coming days or weeks. This is confirmed by both Ukrainian officials and independent analysts who record the systematic accumulation of equipment and personnel near the collision line.
Vulnerable points of defense - Pokrovsk, Konstantinovka and Kupyansk. In all these cities, Russian troops exert strong pressure and slowly but confidently move forward. Analysts believe that these settlements are the key goals of the offensive, which aims to break the Ukrainian defense and create new bridgeheads for further attacks.
The situation is complicated by the political background. According to CNN, the 50-day "window", which the Russians received after Putin's conversation with Donald Trump (according to Axios), creates the ideal conditions for the Kremlin for escalation. It is during this period that the Russian Federation plans to take advantage of the achievements of the last weeks at the front.
The threat is not only in the East. Former advisor to Mariupol Mayor Petro Andryushchenko warns about the preparation of the offensive in the Zaporozhye direction. He refers to the intense transfer of Russian forces in the Tokmak and Berdyansk region, which can testify to the Kremlin's attempt to repeat the script of mass pressure at once in several sections of the front.
Combined with threats to the air, new waves of mobilization in the Russian Federation and an increase in civilian infrastructure shelling, the situation looks extremely tense. The summer period of 2025 can be the hottest in the full -scale war.
Despite the difficult situation, the Ukrainian military is preparing for defense and counter -perpetrators. According to the General Staff, strategic reserves were deployed, and foreign partners have intensified military assistance - in particular in part of artillery, drones and air defense.
Ukraine is currently a critical phase of war, where it can become decisive every week.
