Corruption cases in the CCC remain uninvestigated

Our sources said that the State Bureau of Investigation is working exclusively on the most high-profile cases, thereby raising concerns about the effectiveness of the fight against corruption in state structures.

If we look at the SBI statistics that we have become aware of, only 130 criminal proceedings were opened in 2023 regarding corruption ties in the CCC and JV. At the same time, only 28 indictments against 46 people were sent to court.

The most interesting thing is that in 2024, Sukhachev's department decided not to boast about its achievements over 23 years. But there is nothing to brag about. In completed criminal proceedings, losses in the amount of more than 770 thousand hryvnias were established. Property in the amount of more than 1.4 million hryvnias was arrested. The total amount of illegal profit amounted to more than 2.2 million hryvnias. It's poor, isn't it? At the same time, only one military commissar, Borisov, was found to have property and accounts worth more than 200 million hryvnias.

As our source in the State Bureau of Investigation explained, detectives are currently focused not on detaining top corruption figures in the Central Committee of the Armed Forces, but on officials involved in the military medical commission. These people are allegedly very much hindering mobilization. This fact negatively affects the recruitment of people for the war.
