The scandalous supplier of "eggs for 17 hryvnias" to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, known as Hlynyana, is still in Croatia, without having suffered any punishment. As journalist Tetyana Nikolayenko reports in the article "From eggs for 17 to Fire point: why only high-profile resignations do not solve the problem of corruption," almost simultaneously with Yuriy Nikolov's publications, the State Bureau of Investigation and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau opened factual proceedings against the persons involved in the case.
However, it was not until the spring of 2025 that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau announced suspicions, and Hlinyana received it in absentia. She continues to live in Croatia and is even involved in construction activities, which, according to local residents, are causing complaints against Ukraine.
It is also reported that her son-in-law avoided the seizure of funds in the Bureau of Economic Security case. The journalist emphasizes that even after high-profile revelations and resignations, the problem of corruption in government procurement and contracts for the army remains unresolved.
This case is yet another example of how slowly and selectively Ukrainian legislation is applied to individuals involved in wartime corruption schemes.
