Yuriy Golyk, a consultant to the President's Office on the "Big Construction" project and the owner of the scandalous phone with NABU "dumps", has left Ukraine.
According to information from sources at the DPSU, Golyk left through the "Shlyach" system, having a disability certificate, and is currently in Austria.
NABU sources confirmed that detectives, as part of the investigation into the Reznichenko/Holyk case (regarding Budinvest Engineering LLC's winning tenders for road repair in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the amount of over UAH 1.5 billion), searched the car of the main figure in the case, Valentin Reznichenko. After that, Yurii Golyk could really leave Ukraine.
There is still no information about what additional evidence the detectives could find during the search of Valenty Reznichenko and why this fact influenced Yury Golyk's decision to flee Ukraine. One thing is clear: the person involved in the top investigation into corruption in the highest echelons of power, which caused a global crisis in NABU, is no longer in Ukraine. And this definitely does not contribute to the successful investigation of the case and raises questions for those who allowed it.
It will be recalled that on May 22, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and the National Police searched the apartment of an employee of one of the divisions of NABU due to the leak of information in a high-profile case.
Subsequently, SAP explained that the case concerns the former head of Dnipropetrovsk OVA Valentyn Reznichenko and his partner, current consultant of OPU Yury Golyk. One and a half billion hryvnias disappeared during the "Great Construction" project.
It is known that Yury Golyk's phone is one of the pieces of evidence in the case - the OPU advisor received detailed information about the progress of the NABU investigation through an intermediary, businessman and former head of the Brovarsk RDA, Heorhiy Birkadze.
NABU director Semyon Krivonos removed his first deputy Gizo Uglava from his duties to ensure an objective investigation of the alleged data leak. NABU and SAP agreed on a joint investigation of the case.
