This was reported by a doctor, Tetyana Yesych.
According to the doctor, the incident occurred on February 3. An agitated woman contacted the Dnipro Central Operational Dispatch Center, asking for help for her son. She suspected that the boy had been poisoned by an unknown substance.
The ambulance crew arrived urgently. It turned out that the 14-year-old boy, together with his friends, had drunk about 10 bottles of Revo. After that, he felt sick.
Symptoms:
- Uncontrollable vomiting
- Dizziness
- Brief loss of consciousness
- Hallucinations
The doctors provided immediate assistance - the paramedic established venous access and began infusion therapy during transportation. The boy was hospitalized in moderate condition.
Doctors warn parents
According to doctors, excessive consumption of low-alcohol energy drinks can cause toxic damage to organs, the nervous system, and even lead to addiction.
"It is important for parents to be attentive to their children, to explain to them the consequences of drinking alcohol and energy drinks. And to our colleagues, we thank you for your professionalism and willingness to save lives," said Tetyana Yesych.
