The head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy, Danylo Hetmantsev, announced possible tax evasion in the business of Daria Kochurina, the wife of Odessa tax official Handusenko.
According to the MP, the businesswoman owns two clothing stores in Kyiv and Odessa, and also actively sells online. At the same time, official tax revenues from this activity are minimal.
Hetmantsev reported that he analyzed the work of a business specializing in the sale of clothing worth from several thousand to several tens of thousands of hryvnias. According to public statements by the owner herself, the online store alone can process more than 300 orders daily. In addition, about 70 seamstresses allegedly work in the sewing shop associated with the company's activities, and the installed equipment is estimated at approximately 20 million hryvnias.
Despite the scale of its activities, the business is officially represented by only two companies. According to the data provided by the deputy, one of them, Nakarat Radip Yong, paid 5.8 thousand hryvnias in taxes to the budget in 2025. The other company, Lior Boutique, according to him, does not report or make tax payments.
The main activity, according to Getmantsev, is carried out through individual entrepreneurs of the second group. According to him, over the past two years, at least seven different individual entrepreneurs have changed names in public offer agreements. During control purchases in the online store, invoices from other entrepreneurs were also recorded.
The MP noted that, according to his calculations, the budget may be underpaid by more than 145 million hryvnias in taxes each year. He called this model of work an example of a situation where a large business formally operates as a small business, using a simplified taxation system.
Hetmantsev publicly suggested that Daria Kochurina reregister her activities under the general taxation system. At the same time, he noted that the tax service should assess the facts within the framework of current legislation.
There is currently no public reaction from the businesswoman regarding the allegations.
