On Monday, January 20, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) are to announce suspicions to several high-ranking officials from the military circles of Ukraine. As journalist Yuriy Butusov reported on his Facebook page, these individuals held key positions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to him, we are talking about the former commander of the 155th mechanized brigade "Anna Kyivska", Colonel Dmytro Ryumshin, Brigadier General Yury Galushkin, former commander of the operational-tactical command "Kharkiv", Lieutenant General Artur Horbenko, as well as the former deputy commander of the 125th of the Lviv Territorial Defense Brigade.
In particular, Dmytro Ryumshin has already been detained in Chernivtsi, but the suspicion has not yet been brought against him, and its content has not yet been disclosed. On the other hand, Yuriy Galushkin and Artur Gorbenko will be charged with official negligence. This is due to the failure of the defense and the loss of control of the military units in the Kharkiv direction on May 10, 2024.
Yuriy Butusov also announced a stream on YouTube at 20:00, where he plans to discuss the progress of this investigation.
This development is taking place against the background of the recent detention in Odesa of a 31-year-old commander of a military unit, who organized extortion among his subordinates, demanded 30% of combat pay to repair equipment. He faces imprisonment with confiscation of property.
