The State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) reported the suspicion of the 207th Separate Territorial Defense Battalion, Viktor Yushka. He is charged with abuse of power or office, which could cause significant harm to state interests.
About it reports the detective bureau of ABSURTION.
According to the DBR, battalion commander Yushko issued illegal orders to business trip to the centers of charity assistance in Kharkiv and Nikolaev.
In particular, it is Vitaliy Shabunin, who was mobilized to this part in the first days of a full -scale invasion. Also, the lists of fictitiously mobilized was activist Dmitry Sherembay.
The investigation found that Yushko used a official position to create a "cover" of Shabunin's activity, which did not actually perform the duties of a serviceman and was not at the place of service.
Nevertheless, the battalion commander in 2022-2023 signed the settlement and payment information, on the basis of which Shabunin received full cash as a serviceman. The total amount of illegally paid funds is over UAH 224 thousand.
The State Bureau of Investigation suspects Viktor Yushka of abuse of power or office (Part 1 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code).
According to the investigation, Yushko issued orders without legal grounds and real necessity, and contributed to the receipt of illegal payments.
In addition, law enforcement officers believe that the commander acted out of their own interests - using Shabunin's ties to gain an undue benefit of an intangible nature.
A pre -trial investigation is currently underway, which must establish all the details of the scheme and other possible involved persons. If Victor Yushka's guilt is proved, he faces up to three years in prison, restriction of the right to occupy certain positions or a fine.
At the same time, the issue of Shabunin's status and the return of illegally received funds remains open.
