The State Bureau of Investigation has announced a new tender for the purchase of personal tokens for its employees. The expected purchase price is 492 thousand hryvnias. Information about the purchase was published on February 2 in the Prozorro system, and participants can submit proposals until February 10, 2026.
This is not the first such purchase for the department. In October last year, the State Bureau of Investigation held a similar tender for the same amount. Then only one participant took part in the procedure - individual entrepreneur Oleksandr Sopov, who became the winner. The contract with him was concluded without a price reduction: the cost remained exactly at the expected level, without saving even a few hryvnias.
According to the tender documentation, the tokens have a complex design and will be made of oxidized brass. The product will have the shape of a figured heraldic shield with curved edges and a relief border. The surface must be polished, partially covered with a galvanic layer.
Each token will consist of three elements connected by pins: the main shield, the central emblem of the State Bureau of Investigation, and a relief laurel wreath. In the center will be an emblem made of white metal with a nickel coating and blue enamel. It will look like a stylized trident with silver lines.
The emblem will be framed by a laurel wreath made using vacuum casting technology. Above it will be a ribbon with the inscription "STATE BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION", and below it - an individual six-digit employee number, made using the minting method.
Thus, these are not simple service badges, but complex metal products with several parts and decorative elements. At the same time, repeating the tender with an identical amount and previous experience with a single participant may again raise questions about real competition and the efficiency of using budget funds.
