The State Bureau of Investigation has reported suspicion of the former head of the fuel and lubricants of the rear of the Armed Forces Command of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The colonel is accused of illegally enriching more than UAH 12 million and illegal storage of firearms.
Although the name in official messages was not stated, "Ukrainian Pravda" confirmed that it was about the Zaurny-hereditary tyilor, son of Lieutenant General Boris Zayarny, who at one time headed the Armed Forces missile and fuel support.
According to the ABSolution , Zajarny established a criminal scheme within the Ministry of Defense. The essence of her is in exchange:
-
high -quality army fuel, purchased by public expense, was transferred to civil at low prices;
-
replacement was purchased cheaper than fuel of dubious quality;
-
The difference settled in the pockets of the participants of the scheme.
Such a mechanism allowed both to earn and sweep the traces. But the magnificent life of the colonel attracted the attention of law enforcement officers.
In 2023–2024, the Zajarny purchased:
-
14 land plots in Kyiv region,
-
apartment in Kiev,
-
Three cars: Toyota Tundra , Skoda Octavia , Hyundai Tucson ,
-
Bonds of the internal state reservoir, designed for themselves and relatives.
The Zaarny could not confirm the sources of the origin of these assets, so the DBR qualified them as illegal enrichment (Articles 368-5 of the Criminal Code).
During the searches, they also found unregistered weapons and ammunition, which added another article of the prosecution - unlawful handling of weapons (Article 263 of Part 1 of the Criminal Code).
Particular attention is paid to the "heredity" of the scheme. The father of the person involved, General Boris Zaurny, was responsible in the 90's and 2000s for the entire fuel rear system of the Ukrainian army. Probably the son could use the developed connections to build his own enrichment scheme in new state of martial law.
DBR conducts a pre -trial investigation. According to two articles, which are charged with Zaarny, he faces up to 10 years in prison. Investigators also check the participation of other persons-both from the military and among "civilian counterparties".
