Despite the war, the agricultural land market in Ukraine continues to develop. The most expensive areas are in the west of the country, and the highest demand is in the center. Such data indicate a shift in investors' interest to safer regions.
According to the latest estimates, the most expensive agricultural land is now in Ivano-Frankivsk: for a hectare there is an average of UAH 126.6 thousand. In second place - Lviv region with an average value of 118.3 thousand UAH/ha. Closes the top three Kyiv region - 89.4 thousand UAH/ha. Next - Ternopil region with a price of UAH 86.9 thousand per hectare.
Instead, in the frontline regions where there is a high risk of hostilities, prices remain the lowest. Due to the threat of safety, buyers are in no hurry to invest in such territories.
However, high cost does not always indicate the most active demand. Most agreements in the land market are concluded in Poltava, Vinnytsia and Kyiv region. Here, farmers and agricultural companies are actively buying areas for agricultural production, investing in the long run.
Analysts say that the current trends will continue. The western regions will remain the most attractive in price, and demand will concentrate in Central Ukraine - where it is safer and more promising to develop agricultural business.
