The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has found significant violations in the declarations of two officials from the municipal enterprises of Kyiv. Both cases have already become the subject of police investigation - on the presentation of false information. The total amount of discrepancies is over UAH 33 million.
About it reports the publication "Law and Business" with reference to official information of the NAPC.
The first person involved - acting Head of SHEU of Solomenskiy district, who is suspected of concealing more than UAH 9.6 million in the declaration for 2023. Among the undeclared - its own land plot of UAH 1.4 million, corporate rights in the company, real estate of the wife (apartment for UAH 4.8 million, driver for UAH 700 thousand), as well as five Renault Master cars on it. The undeclared heritage is recorded separately - $ 4,000.
Moreover, the official indicated in the declaration of 450 thousand UAH in cash, but during the check their existence was not confirmed. The NAPC states that the assets issued to the wife are several times higher than its income, which may indicate an effort to conceal the real owners of the property.
The second person involved is the Deputy Director of Preparation of Construction of KP “Directorate of Construction of Road Transport Structures of Kyiv”. His declaration for 2022 revealed inconsistencies for an even greater amount - more than UAH 24.2 million.
The official did not declare an apartment in Kiev for UAH 3.5 million, in which he actually lived with his family. In addition, he could not explain the origin of significant cash declared as a savings of his wife: $ 450 thousand (18.8 million UAH), 80 thousand euros (UAH 3.8 million) and another 885 thousand UAH.
According to both episodes, the Kyiv police opened criminal proceedings under Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine-the submission of deliberately false information in the declaration.
