On April 25, when Kyiv officially declared a Day of Mourning for those killed in the massive Russian shelling, singer Potap (Alexey Potapenko) posted on social media an announcement of a new musical release of an entertainment nature. His actions caused a flurry of indignation among some users.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, the artist happily whistles and dances in the company of two women — one of them in a short, bright dress, the other in a wedding dress. Judging by the video, this is a teaser for an upcoming music video.
Some of Potap's followers were outraged — after all, the publication coincided with the day of national mourning in the Ukrainian capital. "A little tact wouldn't hurt," users commented. The comments included calls for a more sensitive attitude to the events in Ukraine.
