The deputy of the Lviv Regional Council from the European Solidarity Party, Alexander Ganushchyn, who voluntarily joined the 103rd Terroboron brigade in 2022, was able to combine military duty with profitable entrepreneurial activity during the service. In two years as an individual entrepreneur, he earned about 7.5 million UAH.
According to media reports, last year, Ganushchin provided transport services for at least 13 companies. How he managed to combine it with the service remains unclear. Moreover, according to tax data, he did not have officially executed employees, that is, he worked independently.
After demobilization, the deputy settled to the Mira and K LLC - an enterprise that serves several bus routes in Lviv. The company has the status of a critical infrastructure object, and Ganushchin himself received a "reservation" from mobilization.
The moment of demobilization itself is also interesting. Probably, Ganushchyna was released from the army as a father of three children - just before his eldest daughter was 18 years old. After this date, he would no longer be entitled to demobilization under family circumstances.
The history of an entrepreneur deputy poses a number of questions: how to combine a service with a profitable FOP activity without staff, and how transparent is a system of mobilization and booking in private companies that are closely related to local politicians.
