The former MP from the Party of Regions Vladislav Lukyanov, who was detained on suspicion of pro -Russian activity, was spotted in the capital's restaurant. The photo of the exndoard was posted by journalist Christina Berdynsky, who saw him on April 11, 2025 in one of the restaurants in the center of Kiev.
Under the investigation - but at will
As it was reported earlier, in April 2024, the SBU detained Lukyanov near one of the checkpoints in Odesa region during an attempt to escape from Ukraine. The security forces then stated that he had seized evidence of public justification of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation: in particular, telephone and draft records from closed pro -Russian chats. Lukyanov was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
However, as it turned out, on February 27, 2025, the Solomenskyi District Court of Kiev chose him a soft preventive measure - a night house arrest without wearing an electronic bracelet. Since then, the former MP, according to the journalist, feels free and attends catering establishments.
“I do not know that there is an investigation, but it does not seem that Lukyanov in 2025 feels some discomfort in Kiev after so many years openly anti-Ukrainian activity. He goes to expensive restaurants, everything is OK, ”the Berdyns commented.
Lukyanov's pro -Russian activity
Vladislav Lukyanov was a People's Deputy of three convocations from the Party of Regions and publicly supported pro -Russian ideas since 2014. In April of that year, he participated in the seizure of Khartsiz city council, spoke at the rallies of separatists and supported the pseudo -referendum on the separation of Donbass from Ukraine.
In 2022, after the occupation of part of the Donetsk region, Lukyanov re-registered his internet company under Russian law and transferred access to equipment that allowed to control the Internet activity of residents of the region.
In 2020, he became a deputy of the Bakhmut City Council from the forbidden pro -Russian party of the IPP. The investigation also notes that he actively cooperated with the occupation administration of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied territories.
The question to justice
Despite serious charges, the mild measure of restraint and the actual freedom of movement of Lukyanov raise questions about the Ukrainian system of justice. The public and journalists have already paid attention to the situation that looks as impunity for the persons involved in the State Deferee.
