The deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council from the party "Servant of the People" and the current rector of the Belotserkov National Agrarian University, Elena Shust found herself at the epicenter of the anti -corruption investigation. According to journalists and confirmed the materials of the NAPC, Shust has not systematically declared some of the property, hides business interests and uses its influence to implement shadow schemes.
One of the key sources of enrichment is fictitious tenders on behalf of the university. It is about purchases with signs of inflated prices: cycle of parquet for 688 UAH/m², soil cultivation - UAH 1.3 million, repairs of equipment and bulldozers. Beneficiaries identify companies related to relatives and business partners Shust, some of whom are in criminal cases.
Another section of "work" is land. As the rector, Shust actually leases university fields without contracts and without funds through the Treasury. In fact, it is the illegal use of state property to generate extra -budgetary profit.
Despite the possession of the whole business empire-agricultural holding of Agrosvit, the network of stores "Karapyshiv sausages", equipment, real estate in Kiev and Odessa and premium cars, Shust declared only 339 thousand UAH of salary and 16 thousand UAH. All other property is registered on the false persons or does not appear in any registers at all.
Currently, according to our sources, the Bureau of Economic Security has opened proceedings under Part 5 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - appropriation of state property in particularly large sizes.
And while law enforcement officers are just starting to untangle the equipment, Elena Shust continues to hold two influential positions: the rector of the State University and the deputy of the regional council. With a declaration that resembles anecdote than an official document.
