The deputy of the European Parliament from the Polish anti -Ukrainian Party "Confederation" Anna Brilka expressed the opinion that assistance to Ukraine has its "value". According to her, Poland, which actively supports Kiev from the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia, should receive "guarantees of return" of assistance provided.
In an interview with Onet Brilka, she noted that Ukraine's support from Poland and other European countries costs significant financial expenses, and therefore Poland should have guaranteed how its assistance would be returned. Her statement reflects the general view of the need to ensure the financial interests of Ukraine supporting Ukraine.
In addition, Brilka pointed out that US President Donald Trump's actions are also due to the desire to receive compensation for the assistance provided. She noted that in exchange for the security of Ukraine, the United States is expected to access strategically important rare earth metals.
When asked whether it was neocolonialism, Brilka denied, emphasizing that it was about the conditions for providing assistance that has a certain “cost”.
