The Council's commission will check the construction of fortifications on the northern border of Ukraine with Belarus, said the deputy head of this TSC Mykhailo Tsimbalyuk from the "Batkivshchyna" faction.
According to the information, currently control over the construction of fortifications is already being carried out in the Kharkiv region and other regions of Ukraine.
According to Tsimbalyuk, the Council commission will check the construction in the territory of Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions, where comments on these works are also indicated.
Inspectors are expected to scrutinize all aspects of construction to ensure compliance with procedures and regulations and to avoid potential violations.
"We have not only Kharkiv Oblast, there are warning signals from other regions. And our task is to verify this information and establish the truth. This is a very sensitive topic, and we are well aware that most of these materials have a limited degree of state secrecy," Tsymbalyuk said.
He noted that sometimes the price of works and the same building material "varies many times".
This year alone, almost 38 billion hryvnias were allocated from the budget for fortification.
