The Rada commission will inspect the construction of fortifications on the northern border of Ukraine with Belarus, said the deputy chairman of this TSC, Mykhailo Tsymbalyuk from the Batkivshchyna faction.
According to information, control over the construction of fortifications is currently being carried out in the Kharkiv region and other regions of Ukraine.
According to Tsymbalyuk, the Council commission will inspect construction in the Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, and Kyiv regions, where comments on these works will also be noted.
Inspectors are expected to thoroughly review all aspects of construction to ensure compliance with procedures and regulations, as well as to avoid possible violations.
“We have not only the Kharkiv region, there are alarming signals from other regions. And our task is to verify this information and establish the truth. This is a very sensitive topic, and we are well aware that most of these materials have a degree of limited state secrecy,” said Tsymbalyuk.
He noted that sometimes the price of work and the same building material "fluctuates significantly.".
This year alone, almost 38 billion hryvnias were allocated from the budget for fortifications.
