The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP) has published the results of a full audit of the declaration of Oleksandr Maleyev, Deputy Head of the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Office of the Prosecutor General's Office. It turned out that he did not indicate a number of significant objects and data in his declaration, which could become grounds for holding him accountable.
According to the NACP, Maleev did not indicate an apartment with an area of 73.4 m², which belongs to another person (Rabinko S.V.), but which was used by his family members: his wife, daughter, stepson and stepdaughter. Although this apartment was the prosecutor's actual place of residence in 2023, it is not listed in the real estate section of the declaration. At the same time, it was established that Maleev actually rented this housing and paid rent for it, which violates the requirements of the law.
In addition, the prosecutor incorrectly declared the car HYUNDAI SANTA FE (2013). He indicated joint ownership with his wife, although according to the inspection, the vehicle was purchased exclusively by his wife, Tatyana Maleeva. Maleev himself only used the car, but did not own it.
Also, information about the wife's bank account at JSC "State Social Bank of Ukraine", where funds exceeding the minimum threshold for declaration were stored, was not entered.
The total amount of false information related to real estate is estimated at 3.8 million hryvnias. This provides grounds for initiating disciplinary, administrative or criminal proceedings.
The NACP has already forwarded the inspection materials to the relevant authorities for further consideration. Maleev faces a fine under Article 172-6 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses or criminal prosecution under Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code.
At the same time, the NACP did not initiate an investigation into the origin of the prosecutor's funds and his estate in Bucha, which previously appeared in the STB TV show "Super Mama".
According to information from the KDKP website, the consideration of the disciplinary case against Maleev is ongoing, but the prosecutor is allegedly taking measures to delay the process, which may lead to missing the deadlines for bringing him to justice.
