MP Yurchyshyn allegedly hid income from shadow business

The PolitBavona Telegram channel drew attention to the declaration of People's Deputy Petro Vasylyovych Yurchyshyn. As the authors of the publication note, at first glance the declaration looks relatively complete: a house in Khmilnyk with an area of 305 m² worth over UAH 4 million, an apartment of 111 m², a number of land plots, non-residential premises and even a fleet of cars, including a Lexus, a 1982 Nissan and a classic VAZ-2107.

However, as PolitBavovna claims, the declaration lacks data on unearned income, which the deputy presumably receives through an enterprise registered under a front person. The details of the scheme are not being disclosed at this time, but the channel warns: if no significant changes are made to the declaration by the end of the week, the authors are ready to publish the full name of the company, its EDRPOU code, as well as information on related tenders.

This may be grounds for an inspection by the NACP.

"Petr Vasylovich, negotiating with us is fruitless," the authors note, hinting at their willingness to publish all available information. Such a publication once again raises the issue of transparency and accountability of government representatives to society.
