Senior detective of the Territorial Department of the Bureau of Economic Security in the Odessa region, Maksym Kondratyuk, in 2024 declared the purchase of an apartment with an area of 117 sq. m in Odessa worth over 4.2 million UAH.
As reported by the "190" project, citing the official's declaration, the main part of the funds for the purchase of housing was raised through a loan of UAH 3.3 million, guaranteed by his wife Viktoriya. The family contributed UAH 844,000 with their own money.
The declaration states that his wife Viktoriya Kondratyuk owns two real estate properties in Odessa, acquired on August 22, 2014: a non-residential premises with an area of 2.2 sq. m for 9 thousand UAH and an apartment with an area of 47.6 sq. m, which cost 295 thousand UAH.
The couple does not have their own cars. Instead, since 2021, Maksym Kondratyuk has been using a 2017 Hyundai Tucson registered to his father. The cost of the vehicle is not indicated in the declaration.
Regarding income, in 2024, Kondratyuk received UAH 853,000 in salary and UAH 25,000 in compensation for part of the interest rate under the state program "E-Oselya". His wife did not officially work during the year and declared only UAH 9,000 in social benefits.
At the end of the year, the detective indicated about 7 thousand UAH in bank accounts and 2 thousand dollars in cash in joint ownership with his wife. Victoria Kondratyuk declared 200 thousand UAH in cash and 5 thousand UAH in accounts. The family's total savings are about 295 thousand UAH.
Maksym Kondratyuk has been working at BEB since 2022, shortly after the establishment of the department in 2021. Prior to that, he held the position of senior operations officer in the Financial Crimes Department of the Main Directorate of the State Fiscal Service in the Odessa region.
As a reminder, journalists previously reported that the secretary of the Obukhiv City Council, Larysa Ilienko, owns estates and a luxury car, but did not explain the origin of the funds.
