The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine together with leading banks presented a new bank card "Diya.Karta". It is designed to significantly facilitate the procedure for receiving state social benefits.
"Instead of several different cards - one convenient tool. Eventually, you will no longer have to issue new cards every time to receive assistance or other government payments," Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said in Telegram.
Currently, the card can be paid out as part of the "eBook" program, which provides for a payment of 908 hryvnias for the purchase of books to Ukrainians who have reached the age of majority.
In addition, it is planned to transfer "eSupport" payments to this card, including funds for the years 2021-2023. It will also be possible to receive another social payment on the new card by the end of the month. The number of government programs with cash for targeted payments will increase.
Currently, "Diya.Kart" can be issued in "PrivatBank", "A-bank", "Acordbank", "Globus bank" and mono.
"After Diya.Karti, there will be more government programs with "colored" funds for targeted payments. The list of banks will also expand, three more are currently at the connection stage - we are waiting for Bank Credit Dnipro, Sense and Bank 3/4", Fedorov concluded.
It is worth noting that owners of mono cards can already see "Diya.Kartu" in the mobile application.
