Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, answering questions from journalists, talked about his plans after the probable dismissal from his post. According to him, despite the fact that he currently continues to perform important tasks for the country, in the future he plans to take another position, which will also contribute to the further development of Ukraine.
Dmytro Kuleba, the 43-year-old youngest ever head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, who was dismissed at the beginning of September 2024, told where he plans to get a job. The statesman shared the details of his plans in an interview with journalist Ramina Eshakzai.
So, Kuleba said that he still expects a new offer to the state structure, because, according to him, his own experience shows that fate throws him just such chances. However, for now he is focused on other work.
Kuleba also told how he found out about his dismissal. According to him, he and Svetlana were in the gym when he received a call from the Prime Minister, and already then he understood what was going to be discussed. On the same day, he spoke with the president and the prime minister, and the next day he submitted his resignation.
"For me, it happened calmly, because everything has a beginning and an end. I was a minister for four and a half years, it is a sin to complain. From the first day, I clearly formulated a rule for myself that the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs is the quota of the President of Ukraine, and the day the President tells me that he does not see me in this position, I will thank him for the opportunity to be useful to his country. We live in a democratic country, so all versions of rumors have free space to spread. I can say that I did not hear any complaints about my work during the dismissal, there were none. And the fact that this is not a matter of problems in foreign policy is obvious to me," Kuleba explained.
