Against the background of the threat of new offensives of the Russian army, the Dnipropetrovsk region seriously strengthens its defensive positions. According to the analytical project Deepstate , the region is actively preparing for a potential fighting, focusing on engineering fortifications, underground positions and multi -level defense lines.
Anti -tank ditches, mines and "dragon teeth"
Defense boundaries provide classic but effective elements of engineering protection:
-
Anti -tank ditches and "dragon teeth" should stop the heavy equipment of the enemy;
-
The mine fields and "Yagos" (Bruno spiral) complicate the infantry breakthrough;
-
Some of the positions are specially masked to complicate the detection of drones.
FPV-a-kirds protection: Positions underground
Considering the new threats of modern war, fire points and shelters are built underground to maximize the personnel from the FPV-ouzh attacks that the enemy actively applies. This approach takes into account the experience of fighting on the Eastern Front, where drones have become one of the main instruments of the lesion.
Three lines of defense
The defense system is built on a three -tier structure:
-
The first line is the combat crews that will be the first to meet the enemy;
-
The second line - fortifications created by military engineers;
-
The third line is the most powerful, focused on the strategic depth and is under increased responsibility.
Deepstate analysts emphasize that defense is organized as responsibly as possible.
The strategic importance of the region
Dnipropetrovsk is a key rear and logistics link for defense of the East and South. Its loss would mean a breakthrough to Central Ukraine, so increasing the defense of the region is a matter of national security.
