By May 20, Ukrainians promise cold and rainy weather

Despite mid -May, the warm spring weather is in no hurry to return to Ukraine. Forecasters are forecasting that rains, gusty winds and even frosts in some regions are waiting for the country in the coming days.

Famous Ukrainian weather forecaster Natalka Didenko notes that moist and cold weather will remain at least on May 20. Only after this date can you expect a gradual, though timid warming.

Another weather forecaster, Igor Kibalchich, warns of unstable weather conditions on May 16-17. In particular, on May 16, it will rain almost all over the country except the Crimea and the southeastern regions. In the center and in the north, heavy showers, thunderstorms, hail and gusts of wind up to 22 m/s are possible.

The air temperature on May 16 will fluctuate in the daytime +8… +13 ° C in the west and north, and up to +21 ° C in the south and east. On May 17, the night temperatures will lower to +3… +8 ° C, and in the western regions, frosts up to -3 ° C are possible in places.

The end of the week also does not promise heat. Significant rains are expected, especially on the Left Bank and in the Carpathians. At night the forecasters are forecast +2… +8 ° C, and in the daytime - up to +18 ° C, but in the western regions the air warms up only to +13 ° C.

Thus, the real spring is still compeling to wait. Ukrainians should be patient - and warm clothes.
