EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell arrived in Kyiv with a visit that became the fifth and last in his career in this position. As he noted on social media, this visit is part of his continued support for Ukraine, which has remained a personal priority for him throughout his mandate.
"EU support for Ukraine has been my personal priority during my mandate and will remain at the top of the EU's agenda," Borrell emphasized in his statement.
During the visit, it is planned to discuss further steps in the EU's support for Ukraine with the Ukrainian authorities. In particular, Borrell emphasized the importance of strengthening security guarantees for Ukraine, noting that the only way to negotiations with Putin is Ukraine's victory on the battlefield.
