Volunteers of the Armed Forces, former prisoners, escaped from the "Desna" educational center

Society is concerned about the event that took place in the "Desna" educational center, where six prisoners who agreed to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine escaped from their place in military uniform and with weapons.

According to the publication, the prisoners escaped from the 169 educational center named after prince Yaroslav the Wise.

The command of the military unit informed the commanders of the units of the training center about the escape. According to them, six prisoners escaped while wearing military uniforms and carrying weapons.

Their further whereabouts are unknown.

So far, the military command has not commented on the information.

Ukraine has released more than 2,750 prisoners for military service, allowing the country to mobilize additional forces in the ongoing war with Russia. More than 4,000 volunteers are expected to take part in the first round of such mobilization.

Volunteer prisoners now serve in units made up entirely of ex-prisoners and led by experienced military personnel.
