The head of the "EU" parliamentary faction and People's Deputy Petro Poroshenko in the declaration for 2023 declared revenues in the amount of 1 billion 440 million hryvnias.
This amount, together with the revenues for 2022, is almost 20 times more than the revenues for the pre-war year 2021. In the same period last year, the leader of the "EU" withdrew more than 18 million dollars from Ukraine by buying securities abroad.
The income of the leader of the "EU" faction, Petro Poroshenko, increased significantly during the war years. According to the people's deputy, his income was:
- in 2023 – 1 billion 440 million hryvnias;
- in 2022 – 1 billion 435 million hryvnias;
- in 2021 - only 162 million hryvnias.
This is much less than during the years of active Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Poroshenko invested his income in the foreign economy, in particular, in the securities of other countries, withdrawing about 18.6 million dollars from Ukraine over the past year.
Petro Poroshenko entered the top three richest Ukrainians together with Viktor Pinchuk and Rinat Akhmetov. In 2023, compared to 2022, Poroshenko's fortune increased by 224 million dollars and amounted to almost 1 billion dollars.
Only at the end of 2023, Petro Poroshenko received 37 million from the government of Hungary, a week before the meeting with pro-Russian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, known for his anti-Ukrainian statements.
