Lawyer Ihor Sulima, who represents the suspect in the murder of linguist Iryna Farion, announced his intention to bring her daughter Sofia Semchyshyn to criminal responsibility.
Sulima said this in an interview with Ukrainian News.
It should be noted that earlier at the court hearing, Sofia Semchyshyn wished the suspect in her mother's murder to "die in prison.".
“She can be prosecuted for this. Sorry, but she can be prosecuted for threats of murder and violence. Let her say it in front of me. A criminal case will be opened against her,” the lawyer said.
He added that if there is a relevant video recording with threats, he will request it.
As reported by "DS", on July 26, the Halytskyi District Court of Lviv chose a preventive measure for an 18-year-old youth suspected of the murder of Iryna Farion. The suspect was sent to the Lviv pre-trial detention center for 60 days without the right to post bail.
The guy stated that he did not kill anyone, but was not involved in the death of the linguist.
Recall that earlier, journalists from "Schemes" contacted the suspect's father. In a comment, the man said that he serves at the front and has not seen his son for a long time. In his opinion, the guy had no motives for killing Farion, because he did not have any Ukrainophobic views and is a patriot.
