Lawyer Ihor Sulima, who represents the suspect in the murder of linguist Iryna Farion, announced his intention to prosecute her daughter Sofya Semchyshyn.
Sulima said this in an interview with Ukrainian News.
It should be noted that, earlier at the court session, Sofya Semchyshyn wished the suspect in her mother's murder "to die in prison."
"For this, she can be arrested. I'm sorry, but threats to kill and rape can be prosecuted. Let him say it in front of me. A criminal case will be initiated against her," the lawyer said.
He added that if there is a suitable video recording of the threats, he will demand it.
As "DS" reported, on July 26, the Halytskyi District Court of Lviv chose a preventive measure for an 18-year-old youth, who is suspected of murdering Iryna Farion. The figure was sent to the Lviv pre-trial detention center for 60 days without bail.
The boy stated that he did not kill anyone, but was not involved in the death of the linguist.
We will remind, earlier the journalists of "Scheme" contacted the suspect's father. In the comment, the man said that he was serving at the front and had not seen his son for a long time. In his opinion, the boy had no motives for killing Farion, because he did not have any Ukrainophobic views and is a patriot.
