On Tuesday, December 2, the weather in Ukraine will deteriorate sharply. According to the forecast of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, almost the entire country will be covered with rain, and in the Carpathians, wet snow will be added to the precipitation. The day promises to be gray and humid, and the night and morning will be foggy.
Forecasters warn that dense fog is possible in most regions, except for the eastern ones. Visibility will be significantly reduced in places. The wind is expected to be weak and variable in direction, so it will not be particularly cold.
The temperature at night will range from 0 to 5°C, in the Carpathians - up to several degrees below zero. During the day, most regions are expected to experience 3–8°C. The south will traditionally be characterized by milder weather: there will be 4–9°C at night, and during the day the thermometer will rise to 7–12°C.
In Kyiv and the region on December 2, cloudy weather and periodic light rain are also forecast. The fog will linger until noon. At night, the temperature in the capital will remain at 2–4°C, during the day — 5–7°C. In the region, the range will be slightly wider — from 0 to 8°C.
According to weather forecaster Natalka Didenko, on December 2, you should prepare for "a damp, cloudy day with drizzle or light rain," and at the end of the first week of winter, she expects a more noticeable cold snap.
