The delivery of military aid will take "several weeks", so the Armed Forces will deter the current Russian offensive

The situation at the front may be bad for the Armed Forces "in the coming weeks", even if the US starts supplying military aid.

The "Institute for the Study of War" (USA) writes about this.

"The new US aid will not begin to affect the situation on the front lines for several weeks. Thus, the situation on the front line is likely to continue to deteriorate at this time, especially if Russian forces intensify their attacks," military experts write.

"Ukrainian forces may suffer additional setbacks in the coming weeks," but more likely "they are likely to be able to contain the current Russian offensive if renewed U.S. aid arrives quickly."

It is also indicated that it is still unclear how big the first tranche of aid will be and what it will include. But in any case, the delivery of aid will take "several weeks", and it will take time to distribute the received in parts.
