In most countries around the world, we are seeing the rise in popularity of killer drones. This weapon, first developed in Ukraine, enables large-scale precision warfare and may one day become as dominant as artillery.
The cover and headline are a rocket gun, but we still have normal-looking UAVs and FPV drones, and this self-made "I'm an engineer at my mother's" screeds turns the entire cover into sarcasm.
It should be noted that the very first drone - a radio-controlled model of a ship - was invented and patented by Nikola Tesla at the end of the 19th century, especially noting in the patent:
"The greatest value of my invention will lie in its effect on the conduct of wars as a weapon of specific and unlimited destruction."
And the first flying attack UAV was created by Charles Kettering in the USA in 1910 - the plane stuffed with explosives flew on its own in a straight line, at the end the clock mechanism was triggered, the wings folded, and the drone fell on the enemy's position. 45 copies were even adopted by the USA, but were never used in any of the wars.
